How can you tell if the data you have about me is accurate?

All the information NDRS gathers is generated by the NHS during your care and treatment.  They know from analysis of the data NDRS holds that the data is very accurate. One way they check is to match data coming from one source with data coming from many other sources. If any piece of information doesn’t match NDRS’s trained cancer registration officers will check it directly with the hospital, lab, or screening service if necessary.  Hospital trusts have a legal duty to make sure the data they hold on patients is correct.
